K-9 Hank served the city for seven years. Hank has been trained to alert on the odor of Heroin, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and Marijuana. With the changes in California Law on Marijuana, the department can no longer use Hank. By retiring him the police department saves $7,000 in their upcoming budget.
The police department wishes to thank Hank for his years of service and contributions to fighting crime in our community!
Hank will spend the remainder of his life as a pet with Det. White and his family. |
