The subject, identified as 26 year old Rocklin resident Kevin Martin, was found to have a felony arrest warrant. Martin was arrested and booked into the Placer County Jail.

Upon arriving, all subjects from the vehicle fled on foot. Officers contacted the owner and it was determined their 17 year old son had stolen the car. She requested a report be made of the theft of her vehicle. The matter has been forwarded to the Placer County Juvenile Probation Office.

The driver was was loading a vehicle, when he was contacted by a male yelling at him and making threats. Officers arrived on scene and located the male inside a nearby business. The male who was identified as John McCargo and he was booked into the Placer County Jail.
